[Just a girl]

In the blink of an eye, a quarter of the year has passed... (almost..)

its March!!

Makes you wonder if we really value the seconds in our days as much as we should.

All day long we whine and complain about sitting at work, in class, in queues while paying bills, willing the minutes to pass by faster so that we can move on with our lives.

Then, when weekends roll around, or over holiday seasons, we plead the fleeting moments to remain. But sadly, the more we beg the faster it leaves. Like a lover that has an aversion to our implorations, suffocating from our clingy disposition.

Notice how we never just take the time out to enjoy the moment but either wish it all away or suffocate it with our reluctance to just accept it as it comes.

Me + Nurul @ TAG

The past weekend has been an absolute blast, with the usual TAG night starting it off.

Its been the oddest TAG night in a long while.. Some of the crowd that made up a bizzare TAG was Paul, Scott, Vinh, Wan and Scott's cousin, Kimberly.. who also happens to be Lynn's ex-gf.. talk about a small world.. Along with all that, the old days of randomly snogging someone turned out to be extremely embarassing because, A. that's someone's cousin. and B. my colleague was standing right behind me when that happened. (causing untold embarassment and mayhem in the office this morning... -.-)

Anyways, the night ended well enough, followed by my waking up late for an appointment with Takey @ Re:placement.

my cousin's 21st bday

Notice the vast difference between friday and saturday? lol
Saturday night saw us girls out for abit of random fun. At my cousin's 21st celebration, me, Haley and Sam were discussing our plans for the night and decided to put on our dancing shoes and conquer the world.

1 phone call and an hour later, we headed down to Atrium KL to meet up with DJ Augie and C.Loco for some rnb tunes. Now, i know i normally wouldn't be caught dead in an rnb club but saturday was pretty good. (the free-flowing alcohol probably helped..) As the minority sex in the club (i.e.: girls), we got a LOT of attention, which was, of course what we attention whores were seeking for the night.. With Sam labelled the hot salsa diva, Haley the sultry diva and me as well, me.. we alternately danced, drank and camwhored the night away. Was the perfect Saturday night of randomness. After party consisted of McDonald's breakfast and a sleepy drive home.

Sunday saw this trio bounding up and down the Curve, being gluttons for the day. Apparently, female bonding/chillout session now consists of:-

1. Lots of good food (i.e.: Paddington's and dessert @ The apartment)
2. Chick Lit (Little black dress titles)
3. Cigarettes of choice (Dunhill menthol/m.lights)
4. Shisha of choice (ampang - grape mint)
5. Shopping

So we spent the day reading, smoking, eating, drinking and shopping. Suprisingly, even though the conversation was almost zilch between us, there isn't a feeling of irritation or the need to chat-it-up. Granted, we had silly chick lit to keep us entertained.. but still. I reckon, to the outside world, we looked rather anti-social, with our noses buried in books, while simultaneously eating/drinking and ignoring each other.

Sadly, the day ended sooner than expected, and its a dreary, cold monday in the office today.

BUT, as I said earlier in this post, its time to appreciate every moment we have. No wishing away time for me! Time passes quickly enough as is. better to rant my thoughts away and occupy YOUR time with reading it. ;)
