Ive been meaning to blog all week, but due to various reasons, i havent been able to.
But its okay, 'cos im here now.
A quick update on my trip in Sg. So for the first few days it was quite miserable. I mean, Sg has always been a place of rest and relaxation for me, and for the trip to be so work-heavy and nothing else, really made an impact on me.
Friday saw me in the middle of Orchard road, trying my best not to get lost. Hunted around and finally found a gorgeous white dress for the wedding on Saturday. After which I was just extremely exhausted and went back home. I WAS spose to be headed to Home Club that night, and Daryl had sorted things out @ the club for me, but unfortunately, i didn't go.
And so, Friday night was me sitting in front of the computer, getting various calls and sms-es from all the KL-ians enquiring about my whereabouts, asking if i'm headed for TAG, etc.. *crieS* i missed everyone soooo much! And i swear, i was so tempted to catch the last flight out of Sg. that night itself so that i could make it for tag.. hahaha. how ridiculously addicted am i?
Anyhoo, it was a good thing that i didnt go back on friday. Saturday's wedding was nothing short of exqusitely beautiful. With the simple gold and white decor in the ambient lights. gorgeous.
Then of course, there's all the new people i met. After the wedding, a bunch of us left to Thumper in Orchard. Multiple drinks later, the crazier bunch of us continued the party @ Zouk. At zouk, we met up with even more people. Had a fun, drunk, crazy time and got home at about 6am? I swear, im NEVER going to stay out so late and drink if i have a flight early the next day. It was pure torture....
Oh, i bought a vinyl from one of the boys in Sg.. ^^
So, that was Sg.... and music brings people together. ^^ i only bonded so well with a bunch of them there because we were all into the whole indie rock tag-ger scene. I was so excited to hear that one of them is actually a big tag fan, who makes it a point to go to TAG whenever he's in KL. Awesomeness. Props to him.
Now back in kl, it's been a long tiring fun week. I think i was suffering from TAG withdrawal symptoms.. hehe. Been out since wednesday.
Wed was the the Masquerade event, which was a huge disappointment. In the end, we ditched the place after 20 mins or so, and ended up meeting Wmun and Jesse for drinks + dinner @ The Apartment instead. That was nice. Then there was Lapsap vs. Tag on Thurs. That was quite good.. ^^ except for the fact that I was dying in the office the next day. hehe
Then yesterday, Friday night! I came home after work and crashed.. I just fell asleep... hahaha. But a sms from Daryl woke me up and I scrambled to get ready after that. And after a week of waiting, finally, i was there! i was in Loft! woo hoo! That in itself already made my night. =)
But it ended on a bit of a dramatic note. For one, there was a fight between Adrian and Fendy then Harry jumped in, and the bouncers got involved.. After that, Wmun was emo-ing in the bathroom, and after awhile, Jesse announced that she needs to throw up. -.- So it began, the decline of the night. Bah!
Sent Jesse back with Kelv, and went for yumcha with Daryl after that. Phew~ exhausting night.
Finally stumbled back and slept off at about 6am? and so ends my week. =)
It's saturday and i cant wait till next friday! woo hoo! office lanch party happening on friday, and TAG is spinning! hehe. And we've got Deserters playing for us too. =) i hope it all turns out good.
