ive very recently taken a strong liking to wine.
no, wait, dont start asking me about full bodied wine vs florals, etc... i cant tell u anything about them.. all i know is that i like it. hehehe.
BUT im so spoilt when it comes to wine bcos i wont drink/like it, unless its good wine. yes, that is the story of me. spoilt lil princess.. hehe ^^
updates for the week.
its been an infinately looonnngggg week.
last weekend, we went to melaka for the rave.
sadly, that was quite the disappointment. no photos on our end. i didnt bring my camera... and the boys' camera is all on film. hehe. go figure. i'll try my best to aquire it.
road trip there was quite a chore, but i think it ended really well. ^^
friday night - TAG @ loft, as usual ^^
crowd was really good.. havent been in this sort of comfortable tag crowd in a long while. sadly, it was quite empty, as every1 was at home resting up for the rave.. hehe me, however, was a lil bit psycho and i ended up heading there anyways. ^^ i figured, its TAG. i'll definately know ppl.
finally slept off in the early morning at about 6 i think, before waking up at 9.30 due to Daryl. gee, thanks. -.-
Plan was to leave early so that we wouldnt get caught in the jam and arrive early in Melaka. So, at about 10, i woke jesse up and kelvin got a wake up call too.. *prepares*
however, as with all msian timing, our plans got delayed quite a fair bit. by the time we got every1, (me + Jesse + kelvin + daryl + 1thaiguyfriendoftheirs) and got going, it was almost 1pm.. by that time, i had been in the car for... about 1hr ++ alrdy..
*zoom* we left to melaka, met up with Xu, Ricco, Andrew, etc etc at the Nilai stop. *quick lunch w sucky food that i barely touched* finally, we were on our actual journey to Melaka! reached there close to 4pm.. *sweat* -.-"
that was 5 hrs in the car for a 1 1/2 hr roadtrip... zzzz
rave venue was extremely disappointing.. =( mud mud MUD EVERYWHERE! gah!
we went into the rave when the TAG boys finally got their artist passes or whatever not that they needed. crowd was still relatively small.. its ok.. its only 4 - 5pm.. we walk around the whole place, checking it out.. then decided to screw it, and go back to our hotel and check it.
We then find out that Jesse and I are in a totally different apartment on the OTHER side of the venue, whereas the boys are checked into a different apartment.. sigh.. -.-
ok.. nvm. wasnt a big deal. we get ready, take showers and all that when Lis shows up at our doorstep. yay Lis ! ^^
We all proceed to the rave. timed it just right. went in and headed straight for the Global Arena to watch B4C spin.. =) too bad i didnt get to say hie to the boys.. phone signals were fucked. Then, proceeded to foam bar to cool off, get wet and blasted by foam... it was good for me, but Jesse + Nur and all hated it cos they got groped.. -.- assholes...
THEN, finally, the long awaited act of the night, TAG!
by that time, it was about 2am and im alrdy tired as i can get.. popped an e.. and started dancing... but just as it kicked in.. jesse sends me a sms that says "im infront of the main area..save me!" of course, i have no idea what is the main area, as there are 5 arena's.. and im shaking so badly i cant even type back to her.. thank god fizzy was there..he had to simultaneously make sure that i stop shaking by feeding me food and drinks, while trying to locate jesse.. -.- we all panicked.. my entire bunch of friends went of in search of Jesse.. bleh.
in the end we were ok tho... enjoyed the rest of TAG. ^^
no, there were no wild after parties for me.. i DID get a lot of invites.. and aLOT of ppl are quite upset that i didnt show.. but it just isnt me anymore.. i didnt have the energy.. besides, i was alrdy losing my voice at the end of the rave.
Come Sunday morning, i wake up and realise that im still in my bikini... hehe. i quickly changed out of that, took a shower and packed up. time to check out~ =p Daryl woke me up with a sms saying that they would come over and get us soon. uh-oh. okies.
woke the entire room up. all of us packed and got dressed, etc.. finally.
Spent the entire sunday in melaka. that was pretty damn awesome. ^^
we walked along Jonker Street, with Daryl playing tourguide (he's from Melaka) had yummy Teochew food, followed by more sight seeing in the area, admiring the old architectural buildings and visiting the temples, basically playing the tourists. i bought clothes! ^^ and a gorgeous silver ring set with a moonstone. handmade by this old man that designs and makes silver jewelry the old school way. ^^
a lot later, we decided to head back to kl, but instead, we took a short detour to the water front, where me + Daryl sat on one side of the bridge to give Jesse and Kelv some time alone.. *grins* can we say :CuPID?: As we sat and just watched the sky turn red, slowly giving away to darkness, we pick ourselves up and move on to a different part of town for dinner.
as we drive home afters, i feel tired out, but contented.. the whole sightseeing bit made up for the crappy trip and stupid rave there. =) melaka makes me feel very relaxed. i MUST go back there again one day soon.
Come monday, im sick, yet again. Lost my voice.. totally and completely..=( but i STILL had to come into the office, as i had to finish up some things and pass on the urgent jobs. *sorted* hehe. 2 - 3 hrs later, i went home. crashed and slept all day. waking up only for dinner, the doctor and then more sleep. Had to be back at work on tuesday like the good girl that i am.. *grins* haha, but seriously, i just had too much on my hands and i couldnt stop worrying about it. so, i came back.. work work work.
Wednesday comes along and its halloween.. sadly, i was stuck in the office... till 2am.. so there went all my halloween plans. =(
worked on thursday as usual. Then come FRIDAY again.. hehee
TAG is the love of my life now.. ^^ i absolutely look forward to every Friday.. sure, some fridays might get spoilt.. (like last week where everything that could go wrong, went wrong) still, i wouldnt trade it. ^^ the friendships that has bloomed over the course of the past few months still remain absolutely unbelievable... from getting closer to my existing friends, to meeting new ppl like Rob + gang, and now, Nur and all, along with the DJs.. its suprising how much that place feels like home now. ^^
anywyas, i sidetracked. lol.
friday night was spent in TAG, bad night. but Saturday totally made up for it. ^^
part of TAG was spinning in Palate Palette with Zoe, and altho its not ur usual indie tunes, it was amazing still. the vibes were just good. ^^ good save. hehe
Another late night, getting hoem at 5-6 am ...
Sleep. i wake up and i am absolutely just stoning there, thoughts not processing in my brain.. too much alcohol and such over the weekend i guess..then i end up going for dinner @ Bodegas.
dinner, 1 bottle of wine + 1 jug of sangria later, im dying... i need sleep. i think my body has had enough of abuse for ahwile now.
Its monday, and im zoned out at work, trying to get my act together.. sigh.. its gonna b a late night.. :(
